As it was so long ago

There are many things we shall never know

The great mysteries of today

Seem so ordinary when they stay

The quest        

Is simply the best

Why is love so hard to hold on to

Why are people so hard to hold on to

We find the one we want

Yet we let it go far too easy

In our life so many things will come and go

The ones we loved we miss them so

On again to find that which we do not need

Only wishing to be freed

From the pain we know all to well

That which makes our hearts swell

For love that is lost

Shall never be replaced

So hard to hold onto

Yet we never cared so much

Until it was not ours

Remember when we play

The games of love someday
