Who is my baby

Where can she be

I look and I look

But shes not here with me

So today I pout and whine

Known in my heart that she is mine

Yet distance and time are so hard to bear

How can one show how much they care

Do you say I love you at least once each day

Do you try to show it in every way

Do you send flowers and such

Do you just say Baby, I miss you so much

What comforts the soul when it feels so alone

How do you comfort the heart when it no longer feels like home

Will thoughts of great times since past

Help to make the feelings last

When times of trouble brew

Will we wonder if we are through

When doubt becomes a way we live

Will we find the strength to give

Give of the heart and understanding words

Give from the mind wisdom and hope

Give of the body all that we can

Give of the soul love without end

So many barriers block the path

So many words said in wrath

Yet, here we are together soon too be
