What is it truly to forgive?

Is it a statement of your acceptance

A lie you tell yourself to make it pass

or is it truly that from within that causes you to understand

Each of us has to someone wronged

through action or inaction in the throng

we all some slight have brought to bare

and hid within us the fact we cared

We juggle each day of our life

Concerned only with our personal strife

We seek little to understand

or to accept the faults of our fellow man

Instead far to quick to judge the deed

for me want to live by motto's and creeds

and justice for all

justice is blind

all is fair in love and war

With all these it seems that we have for to atone

To the one of not casting stones

because when the  roost if full at home

We must to another go

To exploit these so called faults we see

To show the world and make them believe

That with the educated eyes and brains

we start the with hunt again

Though directions we shall always seek

It is hard to walk the path of the meek

for they see the faults as they will

No need for vengeance fulfilled

They look unto their friends hearts

Always know no small thing shall cause a part

They do not so fickle drift

And set their angered minds to shift

They seek instead to understand

How came this problem which actions demand

they explore within their hearts, their minds

the forgiveness they themselves would hope to find

And thought they know the wrong to be true

and even though it makes them blue

they open up and release that pain

and know they can always forgive again
