We all hold on so loose to what we have

Till time takes them away from us

Our senses peaked to find us more

Only to think it is owned do we ourselves decieve

We walk this world as giants of power

While our own inattention marks the hour

Like chalk on the board is wiped clear

We focus on the pain and want to flee

We hide the reason it came to pass

We wait for an answer that will never appear

While simple to us mean so much
